One of the most influential Swiss writers of the 20th century, playwright, novelist and essayist Max Frisch mastered the art of questioning himself and his readers. His work, addressing issues of identity, responsibility, and the necessity to challenge the status quo, still has great resonance today. This panel of writers and scholars will discuss Frisch’s creative oeuvre and explore his moral and political engagement in Europe and the United States.
